How to Cook Vegetables

Vegetable Loading Instructions

Vegetables are steamed in the top-left cooking zone, and finished by broiling (optional).

This zone is actively refrigerated

Loading Instructions:

  1. Remove vegetables from any packaging, then cut and prepare as desired
  2. Add to pan; season with salt and pepper to taste
  3. Insert the pan into top-left vegetable zone
  4. When prompted on the display, enter the desired cooking time (see vegetable cooking times)
  5. Once cooking is complete, you will have the option to broil your vegetables to enhance their flavor and appearance.

Broiling Instructions

Broiling your vegetables can make your vegetables look and taste even better than simply steaming them.

  1. Remove steamed vegetables from Suvie
  2. Add a drizzle of oil on top (oil enhances the caramelization during broiling)
  3. Season with salt and pepper
  4. Stir vegetables to coat oil/spice mixture evenly
  5. Replace Suvie pan with vegetables back into the top-right cooking zone
  6. Enter your desired broiling times and start broil
